In the first of our three video interviews with Det Supt Andy Cox, of the Metropolitan Police, we speak to him about the increase in high-speed offences on the roads during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Vision Zero policing lead tells us about the staggering speeds that have been detected on London’s once-congested roads – including a car travelling at 163mph on the M1 this week.

He discusses the stark messages that he’s been delivering to the public and how he gets his messages heard.
