Police officers in Norfolk and Suffolk
become qualified speed camera

A team of police officers from Norfolk and Suffolk have become qualified mobile speed camera operators and trainers after completing a Road Safety Support qualification this week.

The constables and sergeant completed the week-long Skills for Justice Level 3 Award in Road Safety Enforcement Technology qualification for laser and lidar operators.

The qualification will also allow them to train their own mobile speed camera operators within force in the future.

Steve Langdon, Road Safety Support Legal Support and Training Manager, who delivered the training, said: "It has been a great week and the officers worked really hard. It's great to see such commitment to speed enforcement."
