TV detective returns to our screens
to support fundraising police officer

26.05.2021

DI Kate Fleming made a comeback to our screens this week to wish real-life Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Cox good luck with his mammoth 200km run to raise money for RoadPeace.

BBC Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure wished the senior police officer, who is Head of Crime at Lincolnshire Police, all the best with the gruelling event, which came to an end on Sunday.

During Global Road Safety Week, he ran from the scene of the UK's first-ever fatal road crash to RoadPeace Wood at the National Memorial Arboretum, in Staffordshire.

Andy has almost reached his incredible £50k fundraising target. Additional donations to this important cause can be made here: https://bit.ly/36nzWb8

With a staggering 35 people killed on the UK's roads every single week, RoadPeace, which supports road victims and bereaved families, needs all the support that we can give.
