Road Safety Support (RSS) was pleased to support the 2019 FirstCar Awards, which reward the unsung heroes in road safety, for the fifth year running.

The awards, presented during yesterday’s Young Driver Focus (#YDF2019) Conference in London, recognise excellence in the road safety industry for initiatives specifically targeting high-risk, young drivers.

Launched in 2015, the FirstCar awards recognise the excellent work of road safety professionals in seeking to reduce casualties amongst young drivers.

RSS Director, Meredydd Hughes, chaired the morning session of the conference and Emma Kelly, RSS Business Development and PR Manager, was one of the judges on this year's panel.

After the event, Meredydd (pictured) said: “Road Safety Support is delighted to have supported the FirstCar Awards for a 5th year.

“We would like to congratulate all of the worthy winners and those projects that were highly commended. Identifying best practice and sharing among colleagues well understood, successful projects is so important for future success.”
