Conference a great success

The Road Safety Support National Safer Roads Partnerships’ Conference 2015 was a great success and was attended by almost 200 delegates and exhibitors.The event, held on September 30 and October 1, was entitled ‘Unity of Purpose - Changing Global Road Safety Together.'The event was attended by road safety practitioners from local authorities, police forces, fire and rescue services, charities and other organisations committed to reducing road deaths and injuries from the UK and across the world.Trevor Hall, Managing Director of Road Safety Support, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the success of this year’s event. We heard from some inspiring speakers from across the globe and learned a lot from their insights.“The conference allowed practitioners to engage with one another and to look for opportunities to work together in the future.“Thank you to everybody who attended the and sponsored event and helped to make it such a great success.”Speakers at the event included Jessica Truong, from the Traffic Accident Commission (TAC) in Australia and Marc Shotten, of the World Bank.Mark and Jessica are pictured above with Trevor Hall, Managing Director of Road Safety Support (centre).
