Help to #SaveKidsLives

07.04.2015

Road Safety Support (RSS) is supporting a global campaign to reduce child deaths and injuries on the roads.
We have signed a declaration in support of the #SaveKidsLives campaign, which is part of the UN Road Safety Week between May 4 and 10, 2015.
The #SaveKidsLives campaign is calling for action to save children's lives by:
• highlighting the plight of children on the roads• generating worldwide action to better ensure the safety of children on the roads• calling for inclusion of safe and sustainable transport in the post-2015 development agenda
The campaign operates on the principles of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 and is managed by a broad coalition of members from the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration.
For more information about #SaveKidsLives and to sign the declaration on behalf of your organisation visit the campaign website. Use the hashtag #SaveKidsLives on social media to promote the campaign.
As well as signing the declaration, #SaveKidsLives is urging for people to show their support by taking a 'safie' (a photograph of groups or individuals holding up signs confirming their support for the campaign and sharing it on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with the hashtags #Safie and #SaveKidsLives).
