Brave cyclist raises thousands
for road safety charity

Brave cyclist Graham Brain is celebrating after travelling more than 1,500 miles and raising £6,500 for a road safety charity. 
The 62-year old cycled 50 miles every day over 35 days from John O'Groats to Land's End raising vital funds for Brake.
During the challenge he visited 10 extreme geographical points, which included Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, the most westerly point; a trek up Ben Nevis, the highest point and Whalley, the most central.
The grandfather of three, who only began cycling seriously in February, weighed in at 21-stones last year and lost four stones in readiness for his challenge.A road accident victim himself, at 17 Graham suffered a shattered ankle in a motorcycle collision and has since had a knee replacement, leaving him with some mobility problems.He has spent the last 24 years working Serco, supplying speed cameras to UK police forces, which has added to his passion for road casualty reduction.
